I’ve been working on fine tuning the Channel 4 online styleguide. The idea, is help ourselves to keep track of our online identity in all the small details that make up a website.

My aim was to make the 4oD links look like buttons (and therefore an visible action for the user), while reducing the amount of 4oD logos around the site.

Created these TV icons for a recent project. I thought I’d share them with everyone.

Using the traffic light methodology – where red is something that could be looked with caution, orange should be waited upon and green is of positive end result

This is simple and effective way to have buttons that scale (width-wise) without any weird browser-specific CSS (apart from IE6/7) or JavaScript implementations. Just using pure CSS goodness.

Icons that should be used in forms to let the user know the outcome.
