Introduction
Let me start by expecting how I got this idea. I was in team meeting about the restructure and someone drew a structural sitemap. It looked over the top and more complicated than what we have now. I slept on it and the next morning, I got this vision in my head about how nature works.

Let’s look at nature as a metaphor to see how we can improve the creative output.

The tree trunk, the backbone, consists of a collection of living organisms working together for the survival of the tree.

Think of the organisms like the people, Web, Video, Production, Marketing and Research to name a few that can shape and create. However, in this digital age, we all have to work together to produce cohesive content for the future survival of the company.

The leaf, the life force, the creative output of the trunk. Each providing with its own source of energy feed back into the trunk. The new generation have multiple devices, forms of communication, websites. So nowadays its not good enough, to be just be a company that creates content for one platform.

Look back at nature for a second. For this tree to survive, it has to be able to adapt it’s ever changing environment. But within a strict set of rules.

Let’s see how this might work for a company.

The main point is that the content isn’t tied or created for one platform.
